A bittersweet farewell to all our loyal fans and patrons.....

            Thank you old friends and new for climbing the hill to Rosemont through icy storms, floods and tropical heat waves to share a relaxed meal in our old general store.
            Remember our harvest dinners shared by our hardworking and creative farmers? Who can forget the occasional "Pajama Party Sunday" and a free breakfast for the best Hawaiian shirt ?
            We enjoyed the excitement of all the gala New Year's Eve extravaganzas and the resultant glitter that hung around for weeks. And, oh, those romantic Valentine Dinners - even the one that got postponed because of ice and snow. And who was that mysterious Halloween streaker? We did know all our friends and neighbors who caroled through every holiday season.
            In 22 years, we know of five wedding proposals at The Café and two women who started into labor (one on Mother's Day!) We share so many happy, crazy memories with the denizen of table seven. We miss them dearly.
            A huge heartfelt thank you to the loyal and talented staff that has made this all possible. Thank you all; we've had a good run.
